I Have Confidence in Me!

Because, let's face it, if you're going to make an outfit out of two skirts, you need to have some confidence in yourself. Also to directly copy someone's outfit. That's guts, friends. Let's see how all that worked out for me . . .

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I stole this look from the gorgeous Ramsey, and while I feel that she looks more amazing in it, (blazer? Um, great choice. Looks fabulous!) I was pleased at how school-appropriate it came out for me. (Also, if you didn't go see the outfit with the link above, you should go see the blog. Because it's great. And the outfit, because it's inspired.) And while these tights are MUCH more blue in person (think Smurfs), I loved it all together! And I almost never wear this patterned skirt (the top one - for it I made up the term shkirt) anymore, so I love that I have a new use for it! Love. Also, this was one of the more comfortable outfits I've worn lately. So hurray! Hurray skirts, hurray stealing, hurray overall!

Oh, also, there's a very lovely giveaway going on over at A Day in the Life Too and while I am most def going to win (I hope I hope I hope!) you should all get your tushes over there just to see the cute stuff up for giveaway, and to visit that amazing feat of bloggery if you haven't yet. Enjoy!

  3. I envy your courage to wear things (and pull them off!) non-traditionally. you might have to nudge me and give me a few pointers or ideas.
